Microsoft To Release Windows 7 On October 3, Report Says
A recent report on a Microsoft partner blog has recently revealed that the Redmond giant would release the RTM version of Windows 7 on October 3, 2009. This means that there will be no Beta 2 release of Windows 7 and hence, that Microsoft is really in a hurry to release the new product.

Windows 7 beta availablity extended till Feb. 10
The shutdown of general availability for the Windows 7 Beta will occur in 3 phases over the course of the next few weeks: Starting January 27th, the Windows 7 page will be updated with a warning that time is running out on downloading the Windows 7 Beta and that we will be limiting downloads shortly.
