Just few days back we talked about the Dropbox new Camera Uploads beta feature which lets you earn free space up to 5 GB. This feature is out of beta and now available in Dropbox for Android. Even now, using this feature can help you earn another 3 GB of free space.
What is Camera Uploads Feature
This feature automatically uploads all your photos, videos to Dropbox (assuming that you already have Dropbox for Android installed) using Wi-Fi or 2G, 3G data plan. The uploaded  photos, videos are of original size without quality reduction is saved to a private folder called Camera Uploads in your Dropbox account.
Whats new in this version
- Automatically uploads photos and videos in the background using Wi-Fi or data plan
- Up to 3 GB of free space for uploading photos automatically (in 500 MB increments)
- Upload files of any size
- Various performance improvements & bug fixes
- Heads up, Dropbox can no longer be installed on your SD Card due to more secure credential storage.
New version of Windows and Mac Desktop apps
The new version of Dropbox for Windows and Mac Desktop apps also come with this new Auto camera upload Feature which automatically uploads from just about any camera, smartphone, tablet, or SD card once you connect it to your computer.
Get up to 3 GB of Free Space
You will get 500 MB of free Dropbox space for first automatic upload using this new feature up to maximum of 3 GB  by uploading more and more  photos and videos (in 500 MB increments).
