Most Apple iOS 5 iPhone users are aware of the battery issues that surfaced after they upgraded their iPhone to iOS 5. Apple has been working on to fix these battery issues as it was getting a bit worse and almost everyone was complaing about the battery issue with iOS 5. Apple today started to roll out iOS 5.0.1 which supposedly fixes lots of bugs and in turn improve battery life.

In addition to this battery fix, this new update or infact the first update of iOS 5 adds some new features too e,g the ability for original iPad owners to use the multitasking gestures that Apple added along with iOS5. Till now, this was  not available to original ipad owners or owners of iPad 1 if you say.

As seen from the screenshot above, this update can only be applied on iPhone 4s, iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad, iPad 2, Ipod Touch (3rd and 4th Generation).

You can use your iTunes to download and install the latest iOS 5.0.1 update on your iOS device.
