Most of you including me love Gmail for loads of features it provides in a simple and non-flashy way making it too simple to use. Google keeps on adding new features in every service they offer. Now, You can start transferring your Files right inside iGoogle and orkut chat , thanx to the addition of this service by google from Monday.
All this simply means that you can share photos, documents, and other files while chatting just right inside your browser without any need of any external application. You need to just click Send a file… in the Actions menu of your Gtalk Widget while chatting with a friend (no download required):
This feature is compatible with desktop version of Google Talk which means you can transfer files from your browser to someone who is using the GTalk desktop client.
Keep in mind, Google’s rules of file attachments still apply here like you can not send executable files (.exe) using this.
This File transfer feature is still not available on Gmail but Google is working on it and hopefully it will be out soon.
