Mozilla have released the final version of Firefox 8.0. They are yet to announce the release of this version at their homepage, so as of now we do not have any information about the release notes.
Even their ftp server still shows the link for the last beta 8.0b. But you can download the final version from the link at the bottom of this post.

A notable difference found in Firefox 8 is the Addons compatibility check, it allows you to enable third party addons once they are compatible.
As you can see some of my addons were disabled, I checked them to be enabled after they were compatible:
The IDM and MAXA cookie manager addons were now available. But the Kaspersky addons were still disabled.
