Photovine App for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad released

Just yesterday we talked about Google’s Photovine service getting live on its domain. The access is still Invite only and invites are still to be given away to common guys like us. Today, Photovine App for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad is released in the Apple Appstore. Photovine is invite-only at the moment, so you’ll be asked to enter your email address after installing the app to start using it.

On the Photovine App page on Appstore, the description about Photovine gives some more clues about what photovine is going to be when it gets released.

Photovine is a fun way to learn more about your friends, meet new people, and share your world like never before. It all starts with what we call a photovine: a group of photos around a single, shared caption. Start a new vine with a photo and caption of your own or add your photo/take on someone else’s vine.

It is listed as a Free App in the category of Social Networking released on Jul 13, 2011. The size of the App is 9.1 MB. The seller is listed as Slide Inc which was aquired by Google sometime back. One of the reviews (by Philippp ) available on Appstore says

” I’m really enjoying this! Photovine is a fun way to share your favorite things and moments, and see other people’s take on the same topics”.

We are keeping our fingers crossed and will keep you updated as and when we get more updates about Photovine.
