Echofon for Firefox 2.0.8RC1 with Firefox 5,6 and twitter’s photos support released

One of the the popular twitter clients Echofon  which works within your Firefox browser has released 2.0.8RC1 with Firefox 5,6 and twitter’s photos support. Echofon was previously called “twitterfox” too. Before this release Echofon was not compatible with the Firefox 5 or 6 or the latest twitter photos. It integrates quite well wih Firefox either as a sidebar, popup or window.

In-Browser Twitter

This adds an Echofon button to Firefox toolbar which gives you access to a full-featured Twitter client in three window modes. You can post tweets, view mentions, send direct messages, manage lists, searches, trends, images and videos – right from within Firefox.

Easiest Way to Post Links

It makes sharing a site or any link very easy. You need to Just click the the link button to share the current webpage on twitter.

Three Window Modes

It gives you option of three window modes: Window, sidebar or within panel.

Unread Syncing & iPhone Push

It syncs your unread tweets with your iPhone if you are using Echofon for iPhone too and it supports push notifications on your iPhone.

Apart from these features, it provides loads of other features mute users, hashtags and clients. The settings can be synced on your iPhone too.
