Today we will talk about a simple free utility Disable Autorun which lets you selectively or completely disable all Autorun capabilities on your Windows Machine. This tool works on Windows 2000, Windows XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 operating systems.
The utility works as a portable or standalone, hence you need not install it.
It lets you disable Autorun on drives of unknown types, on removable drives, flash drives, card readers, Hard drives, network drives, CD ROM drives etc.

Many viruses, especially worms are known to attack/infect PCs through auto run in USB drives, CDs/DVDs.
Disable Autorun is a useful utility with which we can prevent such attacks. 🙂
