Microsoft To Release Windows 7 On October 3, Report Says
A recent report on a Microsoft partner blog has recently revealed that the Redmond giant would release the RTM version of Windows 7 on October 3, 2009. This means that there will be no Beta 2 release of Windows 7 and hence, that Microsoft is really in a hurry to release the new product.

First Release Candidate RC1 of Internet Explorer 8 is just around the for Windows Vista and Windows XP. Now, Microsoft is gearing up to serve the real thing to the general public, namely the fully-fledged Internet Explorer 8 Release Candidate 1 (IE8 RC1), leaving the Beta stage behind.IE8 Beta build that is included into Windows 7 Beta is an interim version of the browser, more evolved than Beta 2, but inferior to Release Candidate 1.
Microsoft Office 14 Alpha screenshots leak
Russian site Wzor has leaked some screen shots of the Office 14 alpha build that was handed out to select testers this week.The build is pictured below installed onto Windows 7 and it doesn’t appear like the UI has been overhauled yet and remains very similar to Office 2007.
