Well, its something odd. Our Forum Mod Ashwin tipped me of this. Google safe browsing says Google.com is risky and site has hosted malicious software over the past 90 days. We all know that Google search uses its Safe browsing feature to warn users about sites hosting malacious content or being suspicious or risky.
I am still not sure if the Safe browsing page about Google.com is due to some error or whatever it says is true. Right now If you go to Safe Browsing page for Google.com (Click here), you will find that it even though the site is not listed as suspicious, but it does say that
Has this site hosted malware?
Yes, this site has hosted malicious software over the past 90 days. It infected 3 domain(s), including *********
What happened when Google visited this site?

I have just Italicised the important lines above. You guys got any clue about it? The page was updated 8 hours ago when I checked in just now at the time of writing this post. I would love to hear everyones view here.

I found this when I was messing with Linkextend settings, I clicked the speed dial for Google on FireFox and saw an exclamation mark on the Linkextend safety bar, out of curiosity I clicked on the drop down icon and saw this “Google Safe Browsing Status: Medium risk”This sounds silly, but what about other websites that Google claims are “risky” to visit, Well I have other safety rating services in the Linkextend Safety bar like WOT, Norton safe web,McAfee Siteadvisor and Websecurity guard enabled , just in case :p

4 the life of me i can not find how to turn MS or Google safe browsing off in IE8 and Firefox.
You have to be stupid to let those two get even more information about you than they already have and both programs call home each night from my machine and you can bet the information sent is stored and processed.
Say no to big brother
