Apple has released the latest version of its operating system for its mobile devices i.e. iOS 5 few days back. Apple devices that can be upgraded to iOS5 are iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 3rd generation, iPod touch 4th generation, iPad and iPad 2. Even though version 5 is a much better and robust OS compared to 4.x.x, still some users are facing issues while doing the upgrade.  Some users do wish to downgrade their device back to 4.x.x from version 5 for varying reasons.

Today we will talk about how to downgrade from  iOS 5 to 4.3.5. For doing this, you will need the firmware files of 4.x.x to restore your device to that version. We will be giving the download links of 4.3.5 firmware files below which can be used to restore your device to 4.3.5. First, download the version you would like to restore to. Just in case if you want to even backup your present Apple device, you can do that easily using the iTunes. Just open iTunes, select your device, right click and click the backup button.

To downgrade your device, after you have the downloaded restore files, open iTunes, select your device, hold option and click the restore button. when prompted, select the file you just down loaded.

Even though some users wish to downgrade to 4.x.x from 5 for reasons related to Jailbreaking iOS 5, still many users who have not jailbroken their devices are facing some problems while upgrading and hence they want to downgrade to 4.x.x.
