Apple is folding Apple TV and Apple Arcade into every iCloud+ plan in India at no extra cost, starting this month. The change also brings a new ad-free music tier called Apple Music Select. It also reshapes how Indian users have bought Apple’s services bundle for years.
“We’re excited to bring Apple TV and Apple Arcade to iCloud+ users in over 100 countries in one convenient subscription,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services and Health.
India is one of more than 100 countries and regions getting the change this month. Other markets include Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Türkiye.
Pricing and what changes
iCloud+ subscriptions in India will be available starting at ₹75 per month for the 50GB storage plan. That entry tier now carries full access to Apple TV’s shows and movies, plus Apple Arcade’s game library, at no extra charge. Higher storage tiers include both services too; Apple has posted full tier-by-tier pricing at apple.co/icloud-plus-tv-arcade. Subscribers can share the bundle, including Apple TV and Arcade access, with up to five other people through Family Sharing.

The trade-off sits in what’s being discontinued. Apple Arcade and Apple TV will no longer be sold as standalone subscriptions in India. Apple One will also stop taking new subscribers there. Existing Apple One members keep their current plan, but anyone signing up fresh no longer has that option. Apple frames this purely as a value add offered at no additional cost. But a buyer who wanted only Apple TV or only Arcade can no longer get just that. They now have to carry an iCloud storage subscription to reach either service. Current standalone Apple TV or Apple Arcade subscribers will be moved onto iCloud+ automatically. Their old subscriptions will be cancelled, and Apple Arcade game saves and progress will be preserved.
What this means if you already pay for iCloud+
If you’re already on a paid iCloud+ plan in India, Apple TV and Apple Arcade should switch on automatically once the rollout reaches your account. That happens this month. Your bill doesn’t change. Apple TV itself is also expanding into 59 new countries as part of this move, taking its total footprint to 170 countries. Apple Music Select is a separate paid add-on and isn’t bundled free. It’s a curated, ad-free radio tier rather than the full on-demand Apple Music catalogue.
Bottom line
For anyone already paying for iCloud storage, this is a straightforward win: two extra services land in the same bill for free. For someone who only ever wanted Apple TV or Apple Arcade on its own, the standalone door is closing. iCloud+ becomes the only way in.
