This post is for music freaks who own a IPod. Like many of you I hate Itunes as a necessary tool for managing Ipod due to various restrictions imposed by Itunes like you cannot Backup, Restore, copy music & videos to and from IPod. Also, you can only sync from just one computer or system and If you try to add something from other computer, you need to erase all the old data i.e. songs, music, videos etc from from your device.
Few months back, I have talked about a tool called Floola which is a good replacement of Itunes. Today I will be talking about another similar tool called SharePod which lets you Backup, Restore, copy music & videos to and from IPod easily without any restrictions.
- Add & remove music and videos from your iPod
- Add, remove and edit playlists
- Add & remove album art
- View and backup photos
- Copy music, videos and playlists from your iPod to PC
- Import music/videos into your iTunes library, including playlists and ratings
- Tag editing
- Drag n’ drop to and from Explorer
- Simple, clean interface
- Quick to load and use with no unnessary complicated features
- Support for iPhone and iTouch
SharePod can transfers all your music, Video, photo collection etc. to hard drive, so that you can create a backup copy of your collection and can restore everything from that backup if something goes wrong with your IPod. It can also transfer playlists, album art, ratings, both to hard drive or iTunes.
It Import tracks automatically into your iTunes library. Also, Sharepod can be stored on your IPod and hence you can run it wherever you need it on any computer by just plugging in your IPod. It lets you manage art, playlists, music, and videos from iPod, edit tags, and transfer them from computer to iPod without having to use iTunes.
