Asus launches AMD RyzenT powered laptops in India

Asus has managed to create a name for itself as a laptop brand in India, slowly gaining momentum by launching new laptops in every price segment. The latest launch comes in the form of AMD RyzenT powered laptops. ASUS, in collaboration with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), today launched the first AMD powered ZenBook and ZenBook Flip in India. If you track laptops, you know that ZenBook is ASUS’s premium laptop series in the ultrathin category. Apart from these, Asus also showcased AMD powered, ultra-slim gaming laptop, the ROG Zephyrus G, and a gaming desktop ROG Strix GL10DH.

ZenBook 14 UM431DA

The ZenBook 14 UM431DA is powered by 2nd generation  AMD Ryzen™ 5 3500U Mobile Processor with Radeon™ Vega 8 graphics. It features 14-inch LED-backlit full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) anti-glare display and runs on Windows 10 Home. It weighs 1.39 kg and is packed in a 15.9 mm case. Other features include 8GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD, quad-speaker audio system, and a 47Wh battery. Asus claims 12-hour battery life. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C port, USB 3.1 Gen Type-A port, USB 2.0 port, HDMI port, SD card reader, and audio combination jack.

ZenBook Flip 14 UM462DA

Coming to ZenBook Flip 14 UM462DA, it is powered by 2nd generation Ryzen™ 7 3700U Mobile Processor with the latest AMD Radeon™ Vega 10 graphics for supreme visuals on the go. It comes with an IR camera for fast and secure facial log-in, FHD IPS touch screen and a stylus pen. It is powered by AMD Ryzen R5-3500U or AMD Ryzen R7-3700U processor along with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD, and 42Wh battery with a battery life up to 9 hours.


Asus ZenBook 14 UM431DA comes at a price Rs. 59,990, whereas Asus ZenBook Flip 14 UM462DA is priced at Rs. 64,990 for Ryzen R5 variant while it costs Rs. 74,990 for the Ryzen R7 variant. On the other hand, ROG Strix GL10DH will start at Rs. 66,990.
