Today one of our Forum members Mike got stuck with a unique problem in Firefox. He was trying to use the Zoom function for the webpages being viewed in Firefox but Firefox inbuilt settings were not having a option to make the zoom settings to work globally i.e. for all sites after we set them once. (Correct me if I am wrong as I was unable to find a global setting for zoom too in FF).

That made me do some search and I found the solution in the form of a addonNoSquint“.  It lets you adjust the text-only and full-page (both text and images) zoom levels as well as color settings both globally (for all sites) and per site.

Just after you install NoSquint addon, you will find a zoom icon with percentage being shown in the bottom right side of Firefox just as in opera. This zoom icon lets you instantly change the settings of any webpage for text level zoom, full zoom or even background you are viewing.

If you want to change settings for zoom globally, just click on “Global Settings” option.

The settings are quite straight forward. Any settings done here will be applied globally i.e. for all sites. If you want to exclude some sites, you can add the URL exceptions in settings and the Zoom settings wont apply on those URLs.
