I had been using DAP free, but got irritated caz of ads; and would be pleased to get a premium key.
DAP as I compare to FDM is much better in its features & stability. My FDM would crash many a times, but DAP didn’t.
The download speed in using all 20 slots in FDM is equivalent to just 5 or 6 download slots in DAP – same net connection..!!
I’m thrilled to see the Private Downloads feature, not sure what it is all about, but anything private is good for me.
SpeedBit Video Accelerator is something I was not aware until I read ur giveaway post here. It looks exciting especially due to:
1. 150 streaming Video sites support…too much
2. no configuration is required
3. my personal experience is on 20Mb download line, UTUBE videos hangs…not sure why…so got to have this one
4. This is misleading from their site “You’ll also download all your favorite iTunes content extremely fast.”??
Could you tell if both DAP & SpeedBit Video Accelerator would work independent of each other, if both installed?

Im a regular poster at Avinashtech forum. And here is why DAP plus is the best.
Extreme acceleration:
Freeware Downloaders just maintain optimum speed which is nothing special. But DAP plus actually provides Extreme Acceleration, i myself have seen it on a friend’s PC. Download speeds were double the normal speed. it was beyond the bandwidth’s normal speed.Very useful for people who download large number of files.
Integration with Flashgot extension in Firefox and Flock makes it much easier to use.
Pause/resume supported and there are ways to download files from rapidshare,megaupload too. Normally not found in freeware download managers.
Yes it uses mirror websites for downloading and splits the files into several small sectors, but this is also found in Gigaget, although it does not provide download acceleration like DAP plus.
What most people dont know is DAP has an inbuilt web browser, an FTP browser and an Always resume service.

DAP is without doubt one the best downloaders ever.When it comes to downloading bigger files we all know obviously how difficult and time consuming it is,that where DAP comes a saviour and helps in downloading quickly and efficiently.Clearly the best options are pausing and resuming downloads which makes things easy for anyone.Traditional downloaders don’t possess security unlike SpeedBit’s DAP.This is a absolute must have if you are into lots of downloading for most of the time.

i´m interested in speedbits videoaccelerator, i´ve tried it in december and were quite impressed, there were practically no stuttering at all when using it.

DAP is the best download manager. i am using bitcommet for downloading but dap gives some other functions such as speeding up up to 200%, Zip preview, File shredder, private downloads etc.

in my country we can have a maximum speed of 1 Mb.
and you can download in http, with speeds that not exceed 10 kb / s the day and can not see video. except from midnight.
