If you are in India and love to buy online from e-commerce websites like ebay, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Homeshop18, IndiatimesShopping, makemytrip etc., then you must have heard about Cyber Monday Concept in US. Cyber Monday term was coined by companies in 2005 to persuade people buy online.

In US, Cyber Monday is the day when online retailers slash prices on almost every product they sell, on the first Monday after Thanksgiving to boost sales in the holiday season making it almost like the best day in the year to buy products online.

Thanks to Google India, Cyber Monday is coming to India too on 12th December. “The Great Indian Online Shopping Festival”  includes almost every known and unknown e-commerce websites selling products online in India. It includes eBay India, Flipkart, Snapdeal, IndiatimesShopping, Makemytrip, Yebhi.com, firstcry.com, Homeshop18.com, Croma, Gitanjali Group, Monster India, Tradus, GoIbibo and many more.

We are not sure how big the event will turn out to be in terms of the overall sales on that day. Much will depend on the amount of discounts and quality products that will be offered by e-retailers on the day.

You can visit www.gosf.in for more details on the e-retailers and can even add the date  to your Google or outlook calender using a link on the website. We are still not sure if all the deals will be hosted on gosf.in or it will link to individual e-retailers.
