What Camera Upload Feature Does

Release notes of this latest build provides some information about this new feature which lets you automatically uploads photos and videos in the background using Wi-Fi or data plan with support for resuming file uploads when there are network issues while uploading. This build also comes with the ability to upload files of any size (no more 180 MB limit!).

You can get a 500MB of free space on first photo uploaded automatically using the camera upload feature. After you install this latest build, you will be prompted to upload photos to Dropbox’s Camera Uploads folder whenever you plug in your camera or phone to the system. You can just select that option and all your photos or videos will get imported to Dropbox automatically. A build is available for Android phone too Android build (2.0.9) which lets you enable camera upload from your phone.
